On Oct. 10, nearly 6,000 women in the union trades gathered in fabulous Houston, TX, for the 2026 Tradeswomen Build Nations conference, and we are still riding high from the thrill of it all.

We marched through the streets of Houston and showed what sisterhood and solidarity look like at its finest! We gathered to hear from inspirational women who have shown the world over that there is nothing women can’t do. We spent the weekend forming bonds that will last a lifetime.

Here are some of the moments that Roofers & Waterproofers women shared along with thousands of their building trades sisters and brothers. For every girl who’s never met a woman in the trades… here are thousands to look up to.
