A. Weekly Disability Income Benefit: Effective January 1, 2025, the Disability Income Benefit has been increased to allow for a weekly maximum benefit of $400 to a maximum of 26 weeks. An employee (other than a self-pay employee) that becomes totally disabled as a result of a non-occupational bodily injury or sickness while covered under the health plan, and as a result of the injury or sickness is prevented from performing his/her regular or customary occupation is eligible for the benefit.
B. The Fund Trustees have agreed to forgo the 2025 collectively bargained $0.20 rate increase, which will provide a rate increase “Holiday” for the 2025 year.
